What is our Misson?

Welcome to our Mission Page! The Sisterhood of Cyber blog is committed to Break the Tech Glass Ceiling! This means our main purpose is to empower women and other individuals to pursue a path into tech despite any obstacles they may encounter. Our blog aims to inspire individuals of all backgrounds by providing IT/Cybersecurity focused information and encouraging individuals to pursue their careers in technology.

How do we plan on achieving this purpose? Every week we publish guides, articles, and project tutorials touching on a variety of helpful and relevant topics. These publications are to inform readers, build technical skills, and aid in personal development. We also provide a selection of third-party resources specifically for IT/Cybersecurity, opportunities for women, career development, and personal health.

 

We also strive to promote diversity by inviting individuals with unique backgrounds and experiences to our safe and supportive community. Though our focus is to empower women to thrive in a male-dominated industry, we also value keeping our information available to anyone who needs our support regardless of a person's attributes such as gender, sexual orientation, age, race, religion, culture, disability, or even their current skill level in tech.
